Winter Garden incorporated as a town in 1908 and incorporated as a city in 1925. Its motto is: “A charming little city with a juicy past.” Winter Garden is bordered on the south by the town of Windermere, on the east by the city of Ocoee.
Winter Garden is a city located 14 miles west of Downtown Orlando in the western part of Orange County, Florida. Established by Henry Harrel of Alachua in 1857, Winter Garden was formerly called Beulah.
Downtown Winter Garden hosts a farmer’s market every weekend from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Many vendors sell fresh produce, plants and flowers, herbs, baked goods, artisan crafts, and local food and beverages. Live music is also a key feature at the market. Visit Winter Garden and enjoy its hometown feel!
